Transmission rebuild due to burnt 3-4 clutches. Master kit with steels, HE band, Raybestos Z-pak 3-4 setup, #7 apply ring, Superior K700-R4-HP

Original Customer Complaint:
Torque converter locks up at about 1000' mark in 1/4 mile.
Current Customer Complaint:
Transmission shifts great, we are just trying to keep lockup from happening at WOT or at least until 4th gear.

I haven't had a lot of experience with the 4L60, mainly the E version and I have searched the database and come up empty so far.

Ok guys thanks for all the replies,sorry for the delay we have been swamped and it has been difficult to get back to you guys.As i informed you before the T.V. spring kit helped and yes a cut 2-4 servo o-ring fried my new band so i installed a new band and still no OD so i'm gonna check my ciruits and see what's shakin' there. I will report back soon thanks again you all have been extremely informative.
