broken reverse band
no reverse

Problem
this is the 3rd time i've seen a broken reverse band in 5r55e, is there a root cause of this, runaway line, just a bad band?
SK has a epc releif system, or just install the FORD update valve?
Has anyone seen these broken bands and knows what causes them.
Trans was very clean and vb gasket was not blown out yet, I do like sonnax says to install an aluminum slug on each side of the long run in the case that is not supported on either side, prevents the flexing, wearing motion.
