o/d servo cover leak.
Work Completed This Visit:
replaced cover and seal piston was good
Summary:
one week after this repair (3months from original repair) cover is leaking again. this time the cover is cracked in the center. replaced cover beleiving crack was from removal process from core. 2 days later this puppy is leaking again. center is cracked again. replaced again and did a pressre test. in o/d started @ 95 psi and then maxed out a 400psi gauge. Suspected a stuck epc. pulled pan, gaket blown out above reverse servo. pull v/b regasket replace epc (used). pressure tested when all back together. o/d does not max out now but starts @95 and jumps to 180psi for 2 seconds and returns to 100 and steady.also checked wot psi in reverse and it maxed for a split second and then sat @ 350psi. pressure does not initialy spike up in 1rst/second/neutral or park. I have seen some great resourses on this site and I'm sure there is some one out there that can help my grey hair condition.

I do have a shift kit in this unit, and I have gone through all the data base for this application. I pulled the trans again and tore it apart. I did not find any thing at this point. I think I will replace the center support. Does any one have a oil schematic for this trans?
