Problem Information
CODE 1860 LOSES 4TH GEAR AND LOCK UP AFTER STOP
ANY TIME YOU COME TO A STOP
Another shop rebuilt entire transmission about 5 months ago and could never figure out why trans loses 4th gear and lock up after coming to stop. I do not know what they tried/replaced. i have followed flow chart for 1860 code with no luck. When I check the tcc solenoid on/off state with test light it lights up when commanded on and takes about 30 seconds to turn off when commanded off.

Problem
vehicle shifts fine even has lock up when first driven as soon as you come to a stop and start off again it will not have 4th gear or lock up and sets a 1860 code until vehicle is shut off and sits for a minute then will work fine for first shift cycle.
