Problem Information

No reverse---replaced low/reverse drum
Car returned after 6,000 miles. Goes into limp when warm/hot. Transmission shifts perfect when cold. Go thru the unit but really found nothing. Installed VB spring kit anyway.

Problem
Scanner data show the engine coolant is 180 degrees but the TCM sees the trans fluid @ 236 degrees when it goes into limp. Replace the temp sensor and TCM---same problem. Re-flashed at the dealer. With a laser temp reader the trans temp on the pan is only 180 degrees while the TCM sees 240 degrees.
