Original Customer Complaint:
Noise in front end - later discovered it was not in the trans
Current Customer Complaint:
Noise in front end - later discovered it was not in the trans
Work Completed This Visit:
After rebuilding trans installed - had reverse 1st and 2nd, but nothing after that. Checked for codes - no codes. removed pan and VB and inspected for proper assembly. Removed trans and re-air tested all clutch packs. disassembled trans and looked at all three sprags to see if correctly installed. looked at pumps for wear.
Summary:
This was a working transmission before the rebuild - as a result of finding the noise outside the transmission - this trans was working fine before the rebuild.
