Summary:
Cant understand whats wrong with this transmission. This is one of my first LCT 1000.
Truck was towed to shop and pushed in on the lift, so no idea if the transmission was functional befor the adaptor cracked. Im using a snapon brick with 2001 cartridge, and cant clear the codes without using generic OBDII. If I clear codes light goes out, and stays off in park, rev and neutral, but as soon as the transmission goes into drive a double engagement occurs and MIL is on. Same shitty code. I found a TSB title called TSB #30559 which seems to be about this problem, but cant fint that bulletin in alldata.
Another thing I have noticed is that the engagement is very brutal. Some kind of banging noise from rear axle aera.
Does anyone know why this adaptors crack?
I cant get any good data from this tranny with my snappy either. I dont understand the pids...:)
Tried with my launch X431 too, but no good data, but at least it was able to clear the codes...
Im stuck and going to bed...:)
