rebuild trans with new converter and filter checked all valves no one stuck in v.b.
customer said had already replaced with used one before he brought to shop still same problem. also replaced computer and had flashed at dealer.

Problem
will start in first gear then slip a little before it catches 2nd runs fine after that until you come to stop then it seems to be in limp mode.Shift into reverse and back to drive and it will take off in 1st again, read similar post problem was governor on older trans.
