Problem

Original Customer Complaint:
Trans falls into neutral when coming to a stop
Current Customer Complaint:
None
Work Completed This Visit:
Click tested all solenoids with modis, all sols click on and off except trim sol B will only click once. Is this normal?
Summary:
The truck has the edge programmer on it the trans does the same thing with the programmer hooked up or unhooked. The tcm was just reprogrammed with the latest updates. Pressure gauage broken tool man on the way with new one. Will update pressures later.

Update

Finally had time to check out this Allison some more. Thanks to everyone who responded. It is 2-wheel drive. I just did a road test and the problem is getting worse. Now it will start slipping on the 3rd to 4th shift. It has a flair at light throttle, but will spin up if you crowd the throttle. It goes into fail-safe and sets code P1721. My ATSG book definition says "Trim solenoid "B" controlled clutch not engaged" Is this a performance code or a hard code? I have a code po 473 when it sets this code and you stop it will not have reverse can let the truck set for about 10 mins reverse comes back to it ,thanks
