Update
My scanner does not want to show me any data on this truck. I went ahead and drove it for a good while to get it nice and hot and when I got back I left it running and removed the inspection cover and measured the temperature with a heat gun and it read 165 degrees. I check the fluid and it was full of bubbles and marked about four or five inches over the max limit. I turned the truck off for about 2 or 3 minutes and then turned it back on and rechecked it to find the level at about half way up in the OK area. Now I knew it was not a temperature problem. I had previously tried a filter change with no results so I went ahead and dropped the valve body. I air checked the tranny and everything sounded good. I then took apart the valve body and found that the main body was severely warped. I flat sanded it along with the rest of it, reinstalled it, test drove it, and no more bubbles. I delivered it back to the customer. He will be driving it out of state this week and he will call me back and let me know how it turned out. I will post the fix as soon as get a thumbs up from him.
