Update

Already tried a rebuilt valve body, new epc, shift solenoids, and another filter. Same problem only when it warms up. You dont feel any engagement into D or R until you give it a little gas. I don't have a pressure gauge. I tried the filter change after it was hot and noticed that after I filled it back with fluid it had no engagements at all for about a minuite even when i revved up the engine. The guy I place I bought the valve body from said that they ocassionally get some back with the same symptoms, and the put another one on and it fixes it. So they are sending me another one. I'll let you all know how it turns out.The other valve body that was sent to me did the same thing so I went ahead and had my installer pull the unit. I found that the torque converter wasn't all the way into pump gears. The inner gear ate up the stator big time. I'm surprised there was no metal in the pan each time changed valve bodie. I also found that I installed the inner pump gear backwards, so I guess it is part my fault and part my installers fault.Replaced pump, with gears in right way this time, and torque converter in all the way into pump gears. For some reason when we stab the tranny to the block it sits flush against block without tightening any blolts, but the torque converter is already up against the flex plate. I think even with the gear in backwards, we had the tc all the way in, but with the gear in backwards, it was being pressed up against the stator. And with gear in right way it isn't, but the hub of the converter is. Does any one know if this year might take a different t. converter with the mounting pads a little shallower? I've never had this problem before. Any feedback would be appreciated.
