Problem Information
no movement after it warms up
when its hot
customer brought in with the complaint that when it got hot it wouldnt move.
Problem
Checked out and it doesnt move when it warms up but if you let it sit for a while it will move for maybe a block or so. took out the tranny and didnt find any clutches or hard part damage.But i found out that the filter was clogged like on a honda, I'm guessing converter to a dump. But ive never done one of these and was needing some direction.Thanks
Update
ok got it all back together and it shift good but after about a 30 minute ride it begins to take off in 2nd gear. I just found out that it had two codes , my guy cant remember the number but it mhad something to do with shift sol a and it has a brake switch code. Checked the brake switch and its no good. To remprogram the shift adapts do u have to take to the dealer? Thanks for all the info
